My 04 mustang GT has a check engine light from the 02 sensor. It has aftermarket exhaust on it causing it to trip the O2 sensor. I can tell its running rich on fuel also. What is the best way to handle this? I like the aftermarket pipes but my concern is for the health of the engine. What do you recommend?

Is the exhaust properly installed? Is the cat converter still there? Is the new exhasut behind the converter? Aftermarket exhasut should not interfere with the o2 sensors unless you removed the cat converter. What codes do you have?
