My clutch recently went out and I had a friend replace it for me. Now he is saying that my transmission must be bad because it locks up after it turns twice. But my transmission was not locking up on me before my clutch went out. What would be making my transmission lock up all of a sudden?

Hi freddiehwilson,

The gear shift could have been installed improperly and you are getting 2 gears engaged at the same time.

Remove the gear shift again and ensure the shift forks are in neutral before assembling again.
