Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 1989 Ford Mustang GT when I drive the car seems to run fine but after a while the needles on the Volt Gauge and the Temprature Gauge go crazy drop down making my car stall while driving. I have checked the alternator thats good changed my starter, control module, cleaned my IAT sensor and throttel body. So I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right direction. I have replaced the battery before all of this started to happen so I may think if it can be a faulty battery. Please help

Hi 89pony and TY for the donation

I strongly recommend you have the battery and alternator load tested-you threw the starter in -it has nothing to do with your problem. Get back asap.

Replacing the battery could end up losing memories and computer has to relearn itself

I took to the local Auto Zone and everything came out ok with the load test the funny thing is that after running my car my stereo in my car stopped working checked fuse and it was blown, I started thinking maybe there was a problem with that so removed the stereo (had extra stereo harness laying around) and replaced the wiring harness and sure enough that was the problem. There must of been a short in the wiring harness so know everyhing is working again with no problem. Thought I would of had major problem. Thank you
