Your vehicle has an inertia switch (fuel shutoff switch) located in the floor of the trunk. This only activates in accident to shut off power to the fuel pump though. If you have trouble starting back up after running tank dry then try this.
Cycle your key in igntion from the off to the on WITHOUT CRANKING. You should hear the fuel pump buzz on for a couple of seconds. When you hear it stop, turn key to off then repeat. Do this several times. This builds up fuel pressure back into the lines. After several cycles of this, try to start vehicle.
