how can you find out what 9 inch rearend drivetrain came out in what models, and their information? I have a 9 inch rear with numbers c7 aw e62 8wi DIF2

Well with the C7 that say's it is out of a 67 Ford. C is for 60's and D is for 70's E is for 80's and so on. Then the next digit in this case 7 is the just that therefore 67. Hope this helps. Now as for gear ratio it will be on the tag as 3.55 would be a 3.55 gears and if it is like 3.55L then it is a 3.55 gears and it is a locker.
