1983 Ford Mustang engines

I want to put my 351M/400cid into my 1983 mustang convertable, that did have a 302cid 5.0 4bbl in it at one time. What would I have to do with out much change? The 351M is also an automatic and the mustang is manual. Can I still use the 302 transmisson that was in it with the 351M?
