1971 Ford Mustang vapor lock on a 1971 and a half Ford must

1971 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive

we are having issues with our mustang. It appears to be a vapor lock problem. We have a 351 cleveland and would like to figure out the things to check and ways in which to correct the problem.

Ok vapor lock happens when the fuel line to the pump it to close to heat so it boils the fuel before it gets to the pump therefore it gets fumes instead of fuel. So check the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump to make sure it isn't to close a heat source.
