I have the above convertable mustang and it is leaking fluid which I believe to be transmission fluid. What might be causing this in an old car? What should I check and if necessary what type of specialist should I take it to? Thankyou

Hi there,

the most common place is normally the pan gasket, this is a simple job, but can be messy, make sure that the pan is very clean when replacing it and don't over tighten the bolts if it has a cork type gasket.
