2003 Ford Mondeo cuts out after driving

Starts and drives lovely but after about 5 miles seems to run out of petrol. Mostly when going up-hill. Had diagnostics replaced cat coil plugs lambda sensor and fuel filter what else could it be its cost me £300 up to now and its no better

Remove and clean or replace the CKP(crankshaft position sensor). Replace it if it looks very worn aor damaged !

Had diag on car fault code p0403 egr valve? Does it have to be replaced or can that code come up for something else

The EGR code can pop up for other reasons ! running rich (excess fuel) running lean (not enough fuel) ..Missfire causing excess fuel not burning during combustion .. the CKP(crankshaft position sensor) controls spark and fuel timing .. so remove and clean this first .. then remove and clean the MAF(mass airflow sensor) this controls fuel/air mixture ... be very carefull cleaning the MAF it is delicate inside ! use a MAF cleaner from an autoparts store !!
