I just brought in my Ford Focus for an oil change and they told me both front sway bar links are loose. I had some repair work done with a bearing- is it possible that the last repair didn't tighten this well enough? Is this something I should worry about-- Can I tighten these myself with bringingthe vehicle in?

Bearing has nothing to do with the swaybar links,, there is no re-tightening of the link bolts once they're installed,, they are a part with a high-failure rate, they wear and start rattling like the frontend is falling off,, they're usually relatively easy to replace,, I've done 2 of my cars in the past year, Taurus's..
