I needed to check the fuse in my lighter socket as I had to use my sat nav so looking at the fuse panel in the glove box I removed the lighter fuse and replaced it with the only other 15 amp fuse I could see at the time this being the audio fuse. Stupid move I hear you say as now having replaced both fuses the radio needs the code re entering to be able to use it again. Having extracted car radios before with two little tools either side of the set are there similar tools for removing radios from this much more modern car? I am assuming in doing this I might be able to find the code on the back of the radio as I have no other record of it. Or does it mean taking it to a garage to have it unlocked? I am on a low income currently so am wishing to to avoid too much expense

The code is NOT located on the radio. The code is in the vehicle handbook. Or cantact your local dealer with cars VIN number for the code. They do not usually charge for giving you the code
