Transmission wants to stick in first gear. RPM runs up to about 1500 then shifts hard. Some times it will do this in second also but for the most part it happends in first.

Has it been serviced? Good place to start. Also haev the PCM scanned for any codes it may have stored that pertain to the trans. It could be a sticky valve or solenoid in the valve body or possibly a bad signal from a sensor
