I started my truck and drove to town and shut my truck off. When I returned to my truck and tried to start it, it would only turn over but not start on the rear tank, however when I switched to the front tank the truck started right up. When I tried to switch back to the rear tank it died INSTANTLY.
it runs great on the front tank and will not run at all on the rear tank. Help?

Check to see if the fuel pump is running in the rear tank. If that doesn't work, check the fuel pump relay. Also, the switch may be bad.

Where would I find the relay?
Is there by any chance a manual valve for tank switching?

Usually the fuel pump relay is found on the driver side fender when under the hood. Both front and rear pump relays clip into a plastic cover that bolts onto a bracket on the well. If it's not on the drivers side look on the passenger wheel well. Now for switching the tank there's an electric valve that is controlled by your tank switch. Usually you can hear the switch work with the truck not running.

Thankyou very much for the help!
It was indeed the switch, however the switch was not bad, just a bad connection at the switch plug-in.
Thankyou again!
