I have a 97 ford f250 with the 7.3 powerstroke. I am encountering problems with stalling. I drain the water seperator weekly or more, have changed the oil, and fuel filters religiously, and have heard about a relay on top of the motor that is called a fuel injector control relay? It stalls in slow or stopped traffic, and at high speeds, it will jerk the truck, seeming like it has no fuel flow for a second or two. Does anyone have an answer for this? I am really good with mechanics, and worked on my f150s with no problems all the way to re-building the motor on one of them, but. On this one, I am thinking, that solenoid/ relay, tank selector valve, bad fuel, or just a lot of crap in the fuel. Truck runs like a bat out of hell otherwise.
