Brakes problem
1995 Ford F250 V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual
160,000 miles. Just replace front disc pads. Driver's side pads will not back out to allow wheel free turn. Pads heated, started smoking. Would this be the caliper?

Before spending over a hundred dollars on a caliper I have had some luck taking a C clamp and compressing the pistion (or pistons) in a little then cracking the bleed screw and running them in the rest of the way. This can push all the dirt and grime thats gathered in the caliper out with some fluid. You probably should bleed the brakes after doing this incase you let any air into the system. I would Also try greasing the slides and the slide bolts.
