I have a 1997 Ford F-150 XL 4.2 L.
I was traveling at 45 MPH when it just died.
It now does not start.
I have no fuel at shreder valve, nor do I have spark.
Does anyone have any idea of what could be wrong?
All fuse are good. Relays not sure.

Did it restart after being left alone for a bit? If so you have the same problem I havein my mustang 1997. I finally found my starter went bad and upon replacing that I am seeing a 12.5 volt read on my starter with the key off. This leads me to my starter relay in which I am hoping it might be. I'll keep you posted on if this works

See if you can find the cam sensor and check the wires out. Same with the crank sensor.

Problem has been solved. I wound up taking it to shop. They found a dead short in the power to the PCM. A wire in the right rear of engine compartment
got too close to exhaust manifold causing the short.
