My truck vibrates at 45mph

I have a 94 F150 4+4 pickup, extended cab, 5.0 engine, auto matic with overdrive. 163000 miles in good condition. My problem is that when driving I hit 45 the truck starts to vibrate loudly and continues to do so till I let up on the gas. It will not do it when maintaining speed only when the gas is accelerated. I have replaced the universal joints and have checked out the front end and found nothing wrong. I cant see anything wrong with the driveshaft it looks in good condition. What could it be? And is it safe to drive like this?

Do you have a carrier bearing inline with the driveshaft? IF so, check it for sagging in the web area outside of the bearing.

I've learned the truck doesnt vibrate if you slowly gain speed and leave the overdrive off. Normally I kick the overdrive on at 45mph and thats when it vibrates. Since I have been leaving it off and slowly gaining speed it doesn't vibrate. Any ideas what could be wrong. Recently replaced universal joints int the drive shaft.
