F-150 blew fuse now won't start, guages shorting

I was installing a trailer brake controller on my 2002 F150 4WD with 75K miles. Like and idiot, I didn't disconnect the battery and I sparked the hot wire to the ground and blew a 20Amp fuse under the dash, and a 30 amp fuse under the hood, both on the trailer light circuit.

After replacing the fuses, all my guages go full tilt when I turn the ignition and I hear a rapid clicking. Once I release and turn off the ignition, the cab light relay switch clicks on and off a few times.

Is there anything I can do other than taking it to a shop?
Thank you

Did you hook up the t-brake controller? If so unhook it and see if the truck will start, sounds like you may have it wired wrong and are grounding out something

Thanks for the reply. I haven't installed the controller, or installed any new wiring. When I was intially sorting the T-brake controller wires (white, blue. Red, light green) I allowed the hot to touch the ground wire (red to white). It produced a small arc, (no sound, no smoke) and blew the two fuses which I replaced. That's when the problems mentioned above began. Could that short have blown a relay somewhere?

Did you check the fuses in the underhood power center? Might have blown one out there. It blew a 30 amp and a 20 amp fuse? I would check all of the fuses first, doubt if it hurt a relay, hopefull didnt hurt the Body Control Module
