ABS speed sensor test

I wanted to know if you can test a speed sensor with a volt meter by measuring ohms. Would like to save a trip to the dealer where I know they charge $55 just for test. Thanks Steve

Yes! Place it on ohms, probe the connector, should read 800-1400 ohms. Did you reitrieve the ABS code(s)?
