Double check for a retaining clip. Other than that, it looks like you removed everything.

I am restoring my grandfathers 1979 F150. I am starting with rebuilding the front end with new bushings, shocks, brake pads, etc. The drivers side was no problem, but on the passenger side, it appears the standard lock mechanism was replaced somewhere along the way and I have no idea how to get it off so I can put a replacement one on. Attached is a picture. I am willing to research how to remove it if someone could just identify what year/make/model it is from. Thanks!

It's from the same era, the picture below is an 84, does this look like it? There are two C clips on this before you remove the lock nuts, one on the inner edge of the hub and one on the axle shaft.
