My truck developed a probled with the temperature control system. When I turn the unit on it comes on for about four seconds then turns off for about four seconds then back on then off every four seconds until I turn it off.

I tried the EATC self test but once I get past pushing the Off & Defrost buttons then the Auto button, the fan LED's come on but then the unit shuts down, then restarts then off, on ,off, on etc. It does not have the 20 second run time needed to self test the EATC.

What do I need to do?

You asked me to check the voltage at a terminal somewhere on this truck. I'll need further information. Where are these terminals and how do I identify them. Is this a problem you have fixed in the past and if so what do I need to replace. I don't want to go on a fishing expidition, I want to fix this. If you know great, if you don't please refund the $$$.

Thanks,

The terminals are on the controler need to remove from dash. Your problem indicates a faulty EATC just trying to verify power source is not the problem.
Any electronic fault requires diagnosis I wish i knew the answer to everything but it does not work that way.
