2004 f150 heritage xlt supercrew 4x4 tow package. will 265/70/16 tires fit without rubbing or causing a problem

From what I can see that truck came with 235/70/16

You definitely do not want to substitute a 265/70/16. That is an extremely taller tire and that is the one measurement that has to remain the same. Doing that would change the speedometer, transmission shift points, confuse the PCM which will effect all kinds of things, and mess with the ABS. It will kill the fuel mileage and acceleration power and probably damage the transmission.
