I have a 2002 F-150, 2WD, Automatic, V8 (5.4). Idles and runs rough, same as in other posting, my Service Engine Light is on. Used gas treatment thinking bad gas (water), will replace fuel filter ASAP. How do you pinpoint vacuum leaks? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

SES on:

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

Have you had the computer scanned? As far as vacuum issues, behind the throttle body, there is a vacuum hose with a 90 ° bend in it. Check that for a leak. They are known to dry rot and produce a vacuum leak.

Let me know.
