I changed spark plugs and now have a miss I can't find. I unplug each coil and it makes no noticable difference. OK thanks for the suggestions. I did go to two different shops, they can feel and hear the miss but no codes show up, one shop even had one of the really hi-tech computers, but it couldn't identify where the miss was. I've checked gap, checked for air leaks, there is no distributor. One shop told me it was because I wash my motor. Which doesn't make sence as I've washed it regularlly since new in 99. Next?

If I were you I would go to the closest mechanic or better yet auto value and have them test for trouble codes it will tell you if its a random missfire or what single cylinder it is on.

First check the gaps on the plugs and the wires.

There is a small piece inside the distrbutor that loosens but still works at times. Hope this helps. Quote]
