Electrical problem
1998 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my trucks driver seat is not working. Is electrical but when I try to pull the seat back it doesnt work. But when I push it to the front it does work. It also works when I push it up and down but doesnt work to the back wat is the problem

I usually take the connector loose from forward/reverse motor, use jumper wires for voltage and ground, use inline fuse, because it is a reversing motor, you switch the jumpers placement depending which direction you want the seat to move. If the seat moves forward and back correctly, I suspect the seat control switch. If the seat still doesn't work correctly, I suspect the forward/reverse motor.
