1998 Ford F-150 Cruise Control

About 10,000 miles ago. My cruise control just quit. In fact, I was in route to get the recall taken care of when it happened and thought that would fix the problem. It didnt. Well a few months later the enging went out so I put a used one in and have been trying to get the cruise to work ever since. Every meck that Ive talked to says they dont know what is wrong. Hopefully I can get some answers here. I really would like to have it working because I do alot of driving. This is the only real issue that Ive had withit except the engine.
