Tested ignition coil, tested wire and connections have the right voltage, but still no start? My next task is to replace the pickup coil in the distributor cap. (?), Could there be any place else I should check

Are you certain it is a spark issue? Have you tested the fuel pressure and cylinder compression?

I have not checked those items out yet, had two mechanics look at it and both says its an electrical problem, > it started after I plugged in a bad power inverter, through the power station, which caused smoke from the fuse panel area but all fuses are good and found no melted wires, they think it cause a short. All fuses inside and outside are good, I have power from the battery > all the way to the ignition coil wire > ignition coil itself down to the pickup coil wire. Even have power there, thats why the told me to change the pickup coil. But I will take note and check my book on what you stated to check. I resend msg with pictures here shortly.

Ok if you have replaced the pick up coil and the plug wires tested good also then could be the PCM not sending signal to the coil in the first place
