I was cruising down the hwy and all of a sudden the engine dies. I pump it a few times. It sputters twice and doesnt restart. Ive checked to make sure Ive got power to the plugs-good. Both fuel pumps, good. Fuel pump relay, good. Inertia switch, good.
Ive also replaced the fuel filter. Ive also checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail, which is 40-good.
Im in the process now of checking the TPS.
I checked KOEO through the sti connector. I get a 32, which is EVP voltage is below closed limit. I dont know what the hell that is.
any help would be appreciated.

Hi motorsal, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

A problem like this is normally caused by ignition system failure such as the coil, distributor pick-up coil and ignition control module and also the ignition switch when it heats up and breaks-However, you said the spark was good fuel pressure is good-now we need to check the engine compression, which I doubt the problem but won't hurt to double check the valve and ignition timing

x: It sputters twice and doesnt restart. This tells me it got spark and fuel was delivered but fail to continue to run. Could be weak spark or fuel pressure problem

DTC32 is an indication of EGR valve not closing completely-which will not caused the engine to die out while at part throttle unless its idling then will cause the engine to stall

Lets redo the fuel pressure check with and w/o the fuel pressure regulator and comeback with the readings we'll work this out just be patient.
