My truck won't turn over.I can drive it, as long as the gas pedal is depressed and I keep the rpm over the 1 mark, so driving with 2 feet, but once the gas is released, the whole truck shuts off. I don't feel safe driving like that. I wanna take it in to get it fixed, but I don't know how much can be done on my own, and also how much am I looking at? I've been told it may be my spark plugs, fuel injection system, fuel filter thing. I'd like to know exactly what's wrong so I don't have to pay alot for diagnostic too. If that's possible. Anyone got any suggestions?

Easy cheap fix, this means that your fuel/air mixture is off, and your computer aint fixing the problem which it should, go to a shop and have them test for the mixture through the exhaust, I forgot the test name, and get a new air filter, I had the same problem but with a carburator, I tuned her by ear with the mixture screw but on fuel injected they dont have the screws

Its the IAC valve. Idle Air Control Valve. Its on your intake manifold behind the throttle body
