My transmission begin to slip during a rain strom and after getting caught in waist high water the engine stalled. My insurance company sent an adjuster who says there is nothing wrong with the engine so the transmission is ok, but the truck does not go in reverse and the truck lurch during driving.

I recommend that you contact him and explaine the problem. Let him know it wasn't a problem until the vehicle was in the water and he needs to feel what is happening.

Also, while you are waiting, make sure to check the engine oil and the ATF to make sure they are clean, full and not contaminated with water.
