Computer problem V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 60888 miles

I'm trying to locate the computer module to get the keyless entry code. So far I haven't found it. Please suggest where it might be.

Thanks, Harrell Gantt

The location of the engine control module is located in the passenger's compartment behind the glove box on the right side. Here is some diagrams to show you what I am talking about. (below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

It's usually located in at least two places, on top of the keyless entry module and on top of the pcm, usually the keyless module is located on the on the package shelf in the trunk in the sedan models, on your explorer I'm not familiar with the setup of your vehicle, the pcm unit is located usually above the glovebox, you mat have to pull it, get yourself a repair manual, Chilton's whatever, it'll help you. Worst case scenario, the Ford dealer can extract it from the pcm unit, however you'll pay. I've searched my manuals and discs high and low for info on how to perform that operation and I can't find anything on it.

It is located left side of steering column at firewall. Keyless entry code is on entry module behind glove box. Be very careful not to trip the air bags they are yellow connectors.

Most generaly chris if you have a dealer that is worth a darn they can give you that info by giving them the vin off the truck which is located on the door post or the left corner of dash. Is it a keless punch pad on door? They can give you code for that also. NOS
