If I understand this right you want to remove the regulator from the assembly? In the c-channel bracket there is a piece of metal at a 90 degree angle at the end. Bend it down on the track enough to remove the slide arm. When reassembling it you will have to bend it back up so it is at a 90 degree angle.

I have looked on Mitchell 1 and on e bay to find a window so I can see how it goes in. In the books it does not tell how to replace the glass or show a picture. Not sure if it was a ford but I have seen some windows that had bushings and screws holding the rail to the window. If there is nothing holding the window in the frame then I would guess it is pressed in. Is the old window broken? If so look at it to see if the weather striking holds it in. They have special tools to put them in. I will keep looking to see if I can find anything out.
