All of a sudden our ABS light stays on. I don't know why and is it dangerous to drive with it staying on? Thanks.

Hi:
The light just indicates that the ABS system isn't working properly. If there are no leaks and the brake pedal still feels solid, it should be safe to drive; the ABS just won't operate if you skid.

The light could be on for a few different reasons. Most common is a brake sensor failure at one of the wheels. You will need to have it scanned to identify the exact problem or sensor.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
