A guy has a 8.8 rear end off of a 1988 Mustang. If it is the 4L10 ratio (like the one from my Explorer that died) will it fit on my Explorer?

Thanks,
Dave

I dont believe it will fit on your truck 1988 to 2001
you can call your local used auto parts (junk yard) as they have all the cross references to what can fit in what and from what to what year
also have to make sure they are the same ratio as the front or will not be able to drive in 4X4
