2001 Ford Explorer door wiring shortage

When opening the door the electric window works
when closed the window motor wont wok
as well as dome light comes on and off occasionally when door is open

You need to check the wiring harness that goes into the door. Chances are the is a broken or damaged wire going to the. Check between the dor jam and the door itself,

Thanks for your reply, I already took the door apart and cleaned and re greased the connection area that connects the 2 wiring harnesses from the door to the frame. Also noticed after that didn't work when the rollers that keep the door from flying freely, roll when opening the door and holding down the window switch there is an ark. Could it be neg. Or possitive wire that is shorting, and or is it in the frame or the door?

I took the door apart lastnight and checked the wiring harness there are not any wire chafings to be found. I also checked the wire harness where the wires go thru the frame of the car no damage as well.
Could it be in the board where the window swich is?

Please any suggestions.
