The only time I have the problem is when I'm going over 30 or 40mph and it is snowing pretty hard. Otherwise this SUV is fine. The dealer can't find anything wrong. Obviously they checked it on a clear dry day.

I'm afraid that I'll get stranded in the middle of a blizzard some day.

1999 Ford Explorer misses and car jerks when driving in heavy snow at greater than 30/40mph. Doesn't seem to occur just on slippery/snow covered roads without snow falling and never seems to occur during light snow. Don't remember it happening in rain either. I've had the SUV for 9 years and only have 40000 miles on it.

Does your check engine light come on? Does it flash?
