Electrical problem
1998 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The windshield wipers work only on the high setting. When they are turned off, they stop where they are when you turn them off. They do not work on any other speed and they will not return to the park position. What could be the problem?

Check the relays in underhood fuse/relay box

Wiper Hi-Lo Relay. In power distribution box.
Wiper Run Relay. In power distribution box.

Thanks replaced two relays and the problem was fixed.
