Lack of power going up hills and a little popping sound maybe from the intake. I changed the plugs and wires, no engine codes, low coolant and alot of water vapor in the exhaust. One of the spark plugs was rusted. Please help!

Hello,

There are few reasons for the engine to have low power output or have poor performance under load.
It could be due to a dirty/clogged air filter, worn out mass air flow sensor, weak fuel pump etc.

Go thru this article, it covers all the usual issues with low power:

Popping noise that you hear could be from a spark plug wires. It could be shorting out to the block. Check the resistance of the plug wires. The resistance varies depending on the length of the wire. It should be between 3000-7000 ohms per foot.

If you hear loud bang then the engine is backfiring. That can also cause the engine to loose performance.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
