1995 Ford Explorer 137000 miles

Many thanks for the help last time!

Recently, the rear window wiper on my '95 Explorer Sport doesn't wipe the entire window due to it being pulled from the body about 1/2". Any suggestions on how to fix before the snow arrives? I want to fix it myself. I think the first thing I need to do is to remove the plastic cover on the back deck from inside so that I can see the motor. Am I right? Thanks a lot!

Had a similar smearing problem on my 96 sport. I just changed the wiper arm (think the spring was shot). Seems to be ok. I did notice that not all wiper brands fit well, if you snap it to get off snow/ice, it may pull a little loose. Good luck!
