Brakes problem
1995 Ford Explorer Four Wheel Drive Automatic 158000 miles

My automatic brake system (ABS) light just came on. I was wodering what the problem could be before I take it in to get checked. And today it has started to make a loud noise when I excelerate the truck.

Can you describe the noise?

My first guess is that an ABS sensor has come loose and you hear it hitting something. Is that what it sounds like?

Let me know.

Also, have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most will do it for free.
