Where is the fuel pump relay located?

Look for the fuel pump relay under the left side of the dash on the driver's side, above the brake pedal and beside or attached to the EEC/ECA mounting bracket. Test the relay and its control circuit if there is still no fuel pressure.
Owners asked where the fuel pump relay is on late-1980s Ford Escorts, including a 1987 and a 1989 1.9L. Experts consistently placed it under the left/driver side of the dash, above the brake pedal and beside or attached to the EEC/ECA bracket, not in a separate relay fuse box. One owner who still had no fuel pressure after replacing the pump was directed to that location and to relay testing.
