Turned a corner in our escort and lost power then the engine died. We replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter. The car acts like it wants to start but is getting no fuel. Upon checking there is no voltage to the fuel pump. We have checked all the fuses and reset the fuel shutoff valve. There is no pressure to the fuel rail. Do you have any ideas?

Check fuel pump relay which is called a constant control relay unit. here is the location so you can swap it out to help fix the problem. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
