i have taken off the wheel and brakes and rotars but cannont get the axle out to drop the transmission

you need a tool that pushes the axle from the hub so that you don,t damage the axle. you still have a lot more to remove the stableizer bar strutsmounts starter .you really need to have a service manual for this car. this is a tough job and would be a lot easier following a manual. hope this helps
