Hi!
I recently failed on inspection and on the papers they gave me it said: Catalytic Converters, Oxygen sensors, Oxygen sensors-heaters, EGR systems, Evaporative System - all of that NOT READY.
Can you tell me how much is all of this cost gonna to repair. I want to come to mechanic with at last some information about prices, so he don't try to rip me off.
Thank you!

This means that the monitors have not set. There may be no problem. HAs the battery recently been changed or has it gone dead?
Have the codes in the computer been cleared?

It needs to go through a drive cycle.

They asked me the same questions. No I did not take the battery out. But sometimes when I first start the car it makes unusual sound (like he's gonna die) for few seconds and then it works normally. Not sure about codes in computer.I didn't do anything with the computer.
Should I get a new battery?
How much is that drive cycle gonna cost?

Thank you!

Going back to your first post. You need to find a shop you can trust. It may not be cheap, but there are many good honest shops. IF someone wanted to rip you off in this industry they would and you would never know it.

I would definitly have the battery checked and also for any draw. The PCM should not be losing power.
At our shop to perform a drive cycle would be $35.
The fuel tank must be between 1/4 and 3/4 full to allow the evap monitor to run.
