Engine Performance problem
1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I've looked in my Chiltons to find the location of all of the componets that relate to the EGR trouble Code but the diagram is a picture of an engine with arrows pointing out most of the componets. but it still is hard to find them onn the engine. is there a better diagram that i can get my hands on to be able to find and check these componets, one that is either free or of low cost?

hi yes under the hood of your car or one in a junk yard like it.
there is a vacum diagram and the whole egr system is on this.
but it can only be the egr valve or the egr transducer. the vac hose. or carbon build up under the valve
