Hello!

I hope you can help me find the EGR valve on a 95 ford escort that was purchased in Colorado. I understand it is normally located on the back of the intake manifold, and I know what most of them look like, is it possible that there is not one for this vehicle? does it look different than most others? (my girlfriends car and it's *driving me crazy*)

1.8L engine equipped models, as well as the 1998-99 Escort coupe are not equipped with an EGR valve.
If you have the 1.9L engine it will be bolted on the exhaust manifold tube.
