1995 Ford Escort not getting any air

Air Conditioning problem
1995 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my heater core went out so I took a piece of pipe and put it between the intake and out put coolent hoses going to the heater core my question is would that effect my air conditioner or is it just a coincedence after I did it my heater fan won't blow and neither will the air conditioner I bypassed the core couse it was leaking anti freeze into the car please help

You may have a leak in the AC system
check system if full
and when AC on compressor clutch is working
if not check fuses

I got the PM
I see you are having a problem with the fan
1st check fuses
if all OK
next would be locate the blower motor
disconnect the wire plug connector
turn ignition key on
place fan switch at high
check for battery power and ground
if you have both motor no good
if no battery power (check fuses, wiring, ignition switch )
no ground check and suspect blower motor resister
