95 escort, fuel pump is good, gets fuel to the rails, has spark, will start with starting fluid, will not run on its own after that, will not start on its own, any suggestions?

If it runs with starting fluid, (don't overdo it!) It's a fuel delivery issue! Either the pump is defective, or the pressure regulator is. Get a pressure test!
