I just bought a Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I know there has to be some differences between the regular victoria and the police model. Ive been looking for a repair manual for the interceptor but I cant find one. Should I get the manual for the regular crown victoria? What are the differences between the two models?

I would get the regular manual. The only real difference is heavy duty brakes and larger sway bars and engine performance. So you only need to remember when you do any brake work to inform them that it has the police package.

Hi: If you are looking for a Ford publication (The Hard Core stuff) Try books4cars.com . If you are not the mechanical type. you may be better served by Haynes, Chiltons or library online services. Be advised I have spent up to 180.00 for the works (4 manuals) but if you have mechanical savey they will pay for themselves after the second or third use easely, assuming 99 manuals are not hard to find "This is the gift that keeps on giving"
