TEST G: WIPERS WILL NOT PARK PROPERLY
Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect wiper motor harness connector C151. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 4 (Black wire) at wiper motor harness connector C151. See Fig. 4. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is grater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire between wiper motor and ground G203 (located behind driver's kick panel, near door frame).
Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage at terminal No. 1 (Dark Green wire) at wiper motor harness connector C151. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Dark Green wire between fuse No. 2 (30-amp) in junction block and wiper motor.
Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect Wiper Control Module (WCM) harness connector C294. Measure resistance in Red wire between terminal No. 13 at WCM harness connector C294 and terminal No. 3 at wiper motor harness connector C151. See Fig. 2 and Fig. 4. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Red wire between wiper control module and wiper motor.
Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 13 (Red wire) at WCM harness connector C294. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 k/ohs or less, repair short to ground in Red wire between wiper control module and wiper motor.
Measure resistance in Black/Pink wire between terminal No. 6 at WCM harness connector C294 and terminal No. 2 at wiper motor harness connector C151. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Black/Pink wire.
Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 6 (Black/Pink wire) at WCM harness connector C294. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace WCM. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Black/Pink wire between wiper control module and wiper motor.
